Hello everyone! It's me Leonardo (if only that were my actual name). Here's a progress update since my last post of...anything.
I don't pop here often but I'm possibly planning on moving here from Twitter after a few months maybe. Twitter has just been a bit of a negative trip for me, so I want to leave that entirely.
I believe the last blog I made was about my game, Mr. Pompy's Extravagant Quiz. Development on that has been slow I must admit, but I'm getting back into it, improving on things, and trying to complete these animations for it because that's pretty much the bulk of the game now.
Here's a screenshot from a new & improved Results screen:
Next, I wanna talk about something I've been dipping my itty bitty toes in for a bit. I've been learning Blender. I've been interested in mixing my 2D style with 3D for a while now and I feel like it could benefit my work going down the line.
So far I get the general gist of it, but I don't have much to show for it as I'm still a beginner.
I plan to use it for the backgrounds of my animations or maybe even make animations in it if I ever get experienced with the program. Think it'll be really neat!
Here are some Donuts with a shader effect on them:
Speaking of animation, I've been getting back into it. Mainly for my main series, The World We Knew.
No animation work has been done though, mainly just promotional material and storyboards and scripts. Which btw, I love how the episode 3 script is coming along. Episode 3 seems like it's gonna be my favorite episode to work on.
I feel like episode 2 is close to being finished after years of not being worked on, but I can't make promises. This is the problem with working on more than one project, boohoo.
Here's a thing I won't say is:
WITH THAT, I think that's all. Minus one thing but I don't wanna get into it yet until I have something to show for it.
If you've made it this far into reading, I appreciate you.
Hopefully, I'll have something to post here soon and eventually move from Twitter to here fully.
Much love, Leo.
